The moon pillow is a soft and cozy addition to the nursery. It can be used for everything from playing to reading and cozying up, and with a removable cover and kapok filling, it can even be used as a head or nursing pillow.

Here are 5 reasons why we have chosen Kapok as the material in our moon pillow:
- Kapok is hypoallergenic as dust mites cannot live in it.
- Kapok does not absorb moisture, but instead conducts sweat away from the body and into the room.
- Kapok is ideal for sleeping environments, as neither bacteria, mold nor pesticides can live in Kapok.
- Kapok is a natural fiber that grows wild. Kapok fibers are found in large cocoons on the kapok tree, so no trees need to be cut down or many resources used for harvesting.
- Kapok fibers are CO2-neutral as the trees convert more CO2 than is used when transporting the fibers from the forest to the consumer.
Please note that since we use 100% natural untreated Kapok, it may have a characteristic smell for some, reminiscent of the smell of a musty/old attic. If you are one of those who notices the smell, we assure you that there is nothing wrong with the product and that it will quickly disappear. Especially if you hang the product out in the fresh air.

Washing instructions
The moon pillow comes with a kapok inner pillow and a cover with a zipper.
The cover can be washed at up to 60 degrees and is tumble-dried safe. The inner cushion can be stained with water and mild soap.
We encourage you not to wash the cover more than necessary, and if you have plenty of time, let it dry on a clothesline rather than in the dryer. This way you not only protect the cover but also the environment.

Our products are sewn with the greatest possible care for the smallest of the family, but also for the seamstress who has conjured up items by the meter into this beautiful product.
We have said "no thanks" to assembly line work in our production, and "yes thanks" to job satisfaction and professional pride. That is why all our textile products are sewn by skilled women in a Danish-owned sewing studio in Hanoi, where fair wages and working conditions are a matter of course, and where the good dialogue and the
close cooperation at all levels is highly valued.

"No thanks" to polyester
At LALATOTO we have made a conscious choice to say no to polyester and instead use only natural materials such as kapok.
This makes many processes in both the development and production phases more complicated and laborious, not to mention that the natural choice is unfortunately also often more expensive. But for us it's still a no-brainer - it's about taking care of both your family and our environment.
Polyester is a synthetic material made from plastic through a chemical process. Polyester is not breathable and can also release microplastics into the environment. In contrast, kapok is a 100% natural and sustainable material, grown without the use of chemicals, and is both hypoallergenic, breathable and temperature-regulating. It provides a healthier sleeping environment without the risk of unnecessary chemicals and microplastics.

Exceeded all my expectations.
The experience of shopping at lalatoto (formerly Hush little one) truly exceeds all my expectations. I hardly dare say it out loud, but my daughter has gone from very restless sleep with many awakenings to sleeping long stretches of up to seven hours with the duvet and nest already from 6 months.
In addition, I honestly don't think I've ever experienced such warm, personal and at the same time professional customer service before. Impressively fast delivery and pleasant and competent sparring.
Finally, it should be mentioned that Lalatoto has a strong focus on social sustainability, which is reflected in the quality of the product and the production conditions - so in addition to supporting a Danish entrepreneurial company, you can also have a good feeling about the production. In other words, I can't recommend lalatoto enough!

Delicious products and good service
Delicious products (although we are waiting a bit for the effect of the weighted blanket :D), nice webshop, but most importantly: really good service and fast shipping. I sought advice regarding something technical before I ordered and I got a very thorough answer, also with reference to the Danish authorities' recommendations in the area. When I received the order, there was a nice little personal greeting with the wish for good sleep. Definitely recommendable! The products are not the cheapest, BUT definitely worth the money, as other manufacturers do not have the same quality (keep an eye out for all the good discount codes that are currently available;) )

The bed snake was my savior when pregnant
As a pregnant woman, I was incredibly ill! I was recommended a “pregnancy sausage”.
A message to Sara, who answered my questions in the most welcoming and warm way. I bought the bed hose. Which from day one saved my sleep, pain and the like at night. It has a bit of weight in it, so it is a bit heavy and therefore stays put. You can't just push it out of bed, and it has a thickness that means it doesn't "just" clop between your legs. It was seriously worth its weight! And I would recommend it to all pregnant women😍
Now our daughter has taken it over as it makes her bed smaller and safer. Thank you!

You probably know Sara & Nicolaj from Lalatoto from Hush little One who was in the lion's den.
Same great products just under a new name! The weighted blanket has made a huge difference to our boy since he was 6 months old in terms of motor restlessness and as soon as their bed skirt came into stock I had to have it too. It doesn't disappoint in any way. I love that it has fabric that can go under the mattress, so the sleeping environment is completely safe and secure. This won't be the last time I shop at Lalatoto!

Fantastic product for baby's sleep
