Description of bed rail
Our bed rail is not just a beautiful addition to your baby's bed; it's also an essential part of a safe and secure sleeping space. Filled with kapok, this bed rail provides a soft and hypoallergenic barrier that protects your little one from hitting the bars or getting their arms and legs caught between them.
We have designed our bed skirt with a very special feature; namely an extra piece of fabric that folds down around the bed mattress, making it impossible for little curious fingers to get their arms and legs between the bars. This not only makes our bed skirt unique on the market, but also the absolute best choice for a safe and secure sleeping environment.
Produced with care
Our products are sewn with the greatest possible care for the smallest of the family, but also for the seamstress who has conjured up items by the meter into this beautiful product.
We have said "no thanks" to assembly line work in our production, and "yes thanks" to job satisfaction and professional pride. That is why all our textile products are sewn by skilled women in a Danish-owned sewing studio in Hanoi, where fair wages and working conditions are a matter of course, and where the good dialogue and the
close cooperation at all levels is highly valued.

Here are 5 reasons that we have chosen Kapok as the material in our luxury bed hose:
- Kapok is hypoallergenic as dust mites cannot live in it.
- Kapok does not absorb moisture, but instead conducts sweat away from the body and into the room.
- Kapok is ideal for sleeping environments, as neither bacteria, mold nor pesticides can live in Kapok.
- Kapok is a natural fiber that grows wild. The kapok fibers are found in large cocoons on the kapok tree, so no trees need to be cut down or many resources used for harvesting.
- Kapok fibers are CO2-neutral as the trees convert more CO2 than is used when transporting the fibers from the forest to the consumer.
Please note that since we use 100% natural untreated Kapok, it may have a characteristic scent for some, reminiscent of the smell of a damp/old attic. If you are one of those who notices the smell, we assure you that there is nothing wrong with the product and that it will quickly fade. Especially if you hang the product out in the fresh air.

All bed rails are intended to protect the child from getting their small, soft arms or legs between the bars.
But curious as the little ones are, they will sooner or later find out that it is simply a matter of lifting the side of the bed up. We have created a solution for this. Something very special about the side of the bed from LALATOTO is the extra panel of textile that folds around and under the mattress. In this way, the bars are COMPLETELY closed off, so that the little one can sleep safely and soundly, and the adults have peace of mind when the child is tucked in.
The classic bed edge - only better
In the first years of a child's life, they sleep more than they are awake. We think this places high demands on the sleeping environment. That's why we also think it's a shame that the vast majority of cots sold on the Danish market are filled with polyester. That is, plastic. We want to change that. Both for the sake of the child's health and for the environment.
Our bed skirt is therefore filled with Kapok, which is both hypoallergenic and completely natural.
At the same time, the Kapok fibers are free from moisture and house dust mites, which makes it ideal for a healthy sleeping environment. But in addition to creating a healthy sleeping environment, our bed skirt also helps to create a safe place to sleep for the little ones. An extra detail that distinguishes our bed skirt from other bed skirts on the market is an extra panel of textile that folds around the mattress. Exceeded all my expectations.
The experience of shopping at lalatoto (formerly Hush little one) truly exceeds all my expectations. I hardly dare say it out loud, but my daughter has gone from very restless sleep with many awakenings to sleeping long stretches of up to seven hours with the duvet and nest already from 6 months.
In addition, I honestly don't think I've ever experienced such warm, personal and at the same time professional customer service before. Impressively fast delivery and pleasant and competent sparring.
Finally, it should be mentioned that Lalatoto has a strong focus on social sustainability, which is reflected in the quality of the product and the production conditions - so in addition to supporting a Danish entrepreneurial company, you can also have a good feeling about the production. Delicious products (although we are waiting a bit for the effect of the weighted blanket :D), nice webshop, but most importantly: really good service and fast shipping. I sought advice regarding something technical before I ordered and I got a very thorough answer, also with reference to the Danish authorities' recommendations in the area. When I received the order, there was a nice little personal greeting with the wish for good sleep. Definitely recommendable! The products are not the cheapest, BUT definitely worth the money, as other manufacturers do not have the same quality (keep an eye out for all the good discount codes that are currently available;) )

The bed snake was my savior when pregnant
As a pregnant woman, I was incredibly ill! I was recommended a “pregnancy sausage”.
A message to Sara, who answered my questions in the most welcoming and warm way. I bought the bed hose. Which from day one saved my sleep, pain and the like at night. It has a bit of weight in it, so it is a bit heavy and therefore stays put. You can't just push it out of bed, and it has a thickness that means it doesn't "just" clop between your legs. It was seriously worth its weight! And I would recommend it to all pregnant women😍
Now our daughter has taken it over as it makes her bed smaller and safer. Thank you!

Same great products just under a new name! The weighted blanket has made a huge difference to our boy since he was 6 months old in terms of motor restlessness and as soon as their bed skirt came into stock I had to have it too.
