Description of Bed Snake

The bed hose makes it easy to create a safe space for young and old, and its 2.5 meters and almost 8 kilos make it possible to surround the child as you wish. Our bed hose is unique because it has a natural stone insert along its entire length, and is therefore more firm and stable than other bed hoses on the market.

The bed snake is perfect as a nest for a small baby, as a bedside table for a toddler, a play station, a reading nook, in a co-sleeping bed and much more. It has become a particular hit among toddlers, who may find a “big-boy/girl bed” to be unsafe, and therefore sleep best when the space around them is reduced. In this case, a soft border from the bed snake can do wonders for sleep.

For babies and toddlers under 18 months, the bed tube should either be used under supervision, e.g. for play and tummy time, as an aid for older siblings or for supervised midday naps, or placed under a fitted sheet. This way you can still create a nest effect, but without the risk of baby getting their head under the tube.

The bed hose is filled with natural stone and Kapok, which is both hypoallergenic and antibacterial and therefore contributes to a healthy sleeping environment for the little ones.

The cover is sewn from tightly woven Oeko-Tex certified cotton, which can of course be removed and washed.

Our products are sewn with the greatest possible care for the smallest of the family, but also for the seamstress who has conjured up items by the meter into this beautiful product.

We have said "no thanks" to assembly line work in our production, and "yes thanks" to job satisfaction and professional pride. That is why all our textile products are sewn by skilled women in a Danish-owned sewing studio in Hanoi, where fair wages and working conditions are a matter of course, and where the good dialogue and the
close cooperation at all levels is highly valued.

We have absolutely no doubt that the good energy can both be seen and felt in the finished product. We call it; good will to work and good karma.

Product care

Washing instructions

The bed snake comes with an inner pillow and cover with a zipper.
The cover can be washed at up to 60 degrees and can be tumble-dried. The inside of the cushion can be stained with water and mild soap.

We encourage you not to wash the cover more than absolutely necessary, and if you have plenty of time, let it dry on the clothesline rather than in the tumble dryer. In this way, you not only protect the cover but also the environment.

Here are 5 reasons that we have chosen Kapok as the material in our luxury bed hose:

Kapok is hypoallergenic as dust mites cannot live in it.
Kapok does not absorb moisture, but instead conducts sweat away from the body and into the room.
Kapok is ideal for sleeping environments, as neither bacteria, mold nor pesticides can live in Kapok.
Kapok is a natural fiber that grows wild. The kapok fibers are found in large cocoons on the kapok tree, so no trees need to be cut down or many resources used for harvesting.
Kapok fibers are CO2-neutral as the trees convert more CO2 than is used when transporting the fibers from the forest to the consumer.

Please note that since we use 100% natural untreated Kapok, it may have a characteristic smell for some, reminiscent of the smell of a musty/old attic. If you are one of those who notices the smell, we assure you that there is nothing wrong with the product and that it will quickly disappear. Especially if you hang the product out in the fresh air.

We go up to safety

Our luxury bed tube has to be compared to other soft baby nests.

Therefore, you should take your precautions when using the bed hose for babies under 18 months.

This means that you should either supervise baby when she/he stays in
the bed hose, or put the bed hose under a stretchy sheet.

In this way, you get the nest effect and the secure enclosure, but without the risk of baby getting his head under the product.

In addition, always ensure that there is sufficient air around the child's body, so
she or he can get rid of the heat.

When using in a cot, it is important that the bottom of the bed is sufficiently long
down, so that the child cannot use the bed hose as a starting point to climb out of
the bed.

Why is our bed snake the Danes' favorite?

Our luxury bed tube has a total of approximately 5 kilos of natural stones distributed throughout the length of the bed tube, which means that it is much more stable than other similar products on the market. In addition, we have replaced the polyester filling (plastic) with natural kapok, which contributes to a healthy sleeping environment for the little ones.
